We're moving... Cheers to a new chapter.

moving apartment

It’s been 1 whole year in our amazing Hudson Heights apartment.

And it’s time to move on. Unfortunately, our landlord decided to sell all his apartments in this building, so rather than renting this gem, we would have to buy it. And honestly, our budget is just not cut out for that right now. So moving on we are.

For now, we’ll be moving to Astoria, Queens, which is a pretty cool, up-and-coming-vibe area just across the East River from Manhattan Midtown. We’re pretty excited for this new chapter, and to get to know a new area of New York City. Eventually, when we want to buy something, we’ll have a better feel of where we would rather live.

We do have this month out, so I’m slowly starting to pack the things down we don’t use. We’ve already packed down our summer clothing, as Autumn has finally arrived to New York and there definitely is no need for shorts, bikinis, and spaghetti strap tops anymore. I’ve also been selling out from my closet, and loads of you have bought items from me. I love it when you say that you came from Instagram, that’s so nice. If you want to have a look at my Poshmark, you can do so here, I still have some items on sale over there.

To the outfit: I feel like a pair of checked pants are a must for Autumn. It’s kind of festive, or maybe it’s just because it reminds me of all the coziness ahead. I’m telling you, I bring out a pair of check trousers every. single. year. This year I bought this pair from Zara, after trying it in store over three different times. I needed them in my life. I love how easy they are to just throw on with a simple tee or a sweater. I already know I’ll be living in them this Autumn.
