Summer Style Challenge: An Entire Outfit Under $200
I've been on a mission.
First of all a mission of not shopping, which lasted my a little over two months. The rule has been: sell something from your closet, then you can buy something new. So I thought it would be fun to see, if I could get an entire outfit for the $200 I have sold items for. And I succeeded.
I obviously wasn't able to shop all highend items, but I love a good highstreet gem, so I headed to ASOS and typed in linen. I've had quite an obsession over linen lately. And up came the most gorgeous blazer & shorts set in a natural, beige color (link: blazer, shorts). That I obviously couldn't leave, and put me up to $112 already. Then I went to the sale section to look for everything else, but knowing myself well, I of course couldn't stay with the sale. I found these cool cateye sunglasses, a coin necklace in best Missoma-style (which I definitely can't afford on my $200 budget), and some minimalist earrings. But it was when I got to the shoe/bag department it got tricky.
So in true "I need to win this challenge"-style, I headed over to SheIn. A webshop I've shopped at once before, and considering the price was very happy with. And that was a success! I found a pair of very cool, brown sandals in best Hermés-style, a graphic tee for under the blazer, and a round straw bag.
And just like that, I landed an entire outfit for the price of $197.20 (with the help of SheIn's 15% off for first purchase, when you subscribe to their newsletter).
