The Two-Piece That Saves Every Outfit Crises
I have found myself in a few outfit crises lately
It might be the changing weather, might be the fact that I haven't shopped for 2,5 months now. I'm having to really go through my closet to find pieces that I feel add a fresh spark to my day, inspire me, and makes me feel good. Because when you feel good, you are more confident.
So to solve my outfit crisis, one clothing item (or two actually) I've been trowing on a lot is this two-piece cropped top and shorts from American Eagle Outfitters. I ripped it down from one of those clearance racks last summer, right before we were headed on holiday to Spain, but I've simply been loving it ever since. Just one of those purchases. So today, I thought we should talk a little about that two-piece outfit that will save you week after week this summer.
Shop similar two-piece sets:
I have sort of a pear-shape figure, so I'm pretty bottom-heavy and I'm also only 5'3 1/2 - that half is very important - so I always try to buy clothes that will compliment my body type. The set has a loose fit, which gives me air to breathe, but actually also works well for my figure. The V-neck makes my bust look heavier, and the frills on the shorts do wonders for my legs. The to pieces nicely meet in my waist giving my body a lovely hourglass shape. To make my legs look even longer I put on a pair of heeled sandals. That always push up all the right areas.
I love my jewelry, and I always wear the same pieces
They kind of complete my outfit, and if I don't have them on, I get this weird feeling of being naked. I mostly wear the same jewelry pieces, and have for many years now, but I do tend to switch my earrings and necklaces a bit. On a day to day basis I wear a few different rings from Mejuri, a gold ring with an oversized pearl that I got for my confirmation, and a diamond ring I was gifted when I graduated high school.
For this outfit I wore my Pilgrim Jewelry double hoops, and my 90's style Ray-Ban sunnies.
